MS TechEd: Live Communications Server 2003
May 28 2004
I captured some of this on Wednesday, and just now am getting around to posting it. I left the conference yesterday...there's only so much I can take ;) Anyway, there was a session on Wednesday afternoon about MS Live Communications Server. I found this session interesting for two reasons: ...
Yes, I’m still fired up about it
May 27 2004
I have more MS TechEd stuff (RTC server mainly) to blog, but I'm still fired up about yesterday. From MEC, October, 2001, Paul Flessner:A year ago we had a very large team in Exchange working on storage. We were never going to get that storage to the rate of innovation that we were investing i...
The Exchange Server team acknowledged at TechEd that the company has scrapped the Exchange "Kodiak" code name. Kodiak, which Microsoft first discussed in 2001, referred to the next major version of Exchange Server that was due to follow Exchange Server 2003. The most recent ship date Microsoft h...
CRN: Big hack attack on TechEd

MS TechEd: META’s Matt Cain on Exchange 2003
May 24 2004
Well, I'd love to tell you what Matt had to say, but even though I'm sitting less than 15 feet away and we've made eye contact.... it's impossible to hear him. Microsoft set up a number of "cabanas" for smaller sessions during TechEd. There's no audio system -- simply one plasma monitor, some...

May 24 2004
It's 9 PM on Sunday night (PDT)....could there really be that much load on the Microsoft TechEd conference network/system to cause it to crash thrice while I've been trying to download presentations and plan session attendance? I've have five downloads all fail, anywhere from 11% to 84% complet...
