The best moment, IMHO, of all of Dr. Ambuj Goyal's comments during yesterday's opening general session (that's an OGS if you want to sound cool), was his send-off, which felt like the revival meeting that many of us tend to equate Lotusphere with.  Turtle captured it:

Ambuj is back onstage again, asking, "do you want your solutions based on open standards, or do you want proprietary architectures?  YOU should decide, and not have choices MADE for you."
I'm sure the six folks from Redmond, Washington that are among the attendees were thinking at that moment that funny giveaway hats weren't going to be the headline news of the conference.
