I've been asked three times during this trip a question along the lines of "who do you like in November?"  
Now as an IBMer travelling internationally on business, we're coached and encouraged to avoid political discussions while on the road.  And I typically avoid blogging about politics as well.  
This particular question, though, is usually a lead-in to a very consistent point that the questioner wants to raise -- that of how the world opinion about United States politics has changed over the last few years.  
Sitting out here in Asia, it becomes clear that that change has not been one for the better.
