I was also wrong about the BYOC count ... make that 2000 slots for people to bring their computers to join the fragging! Also, some people have asked me where I have gotten all of these stories. I have milled ShackNews, Blues News, Planet Doom, and GameSpy Networks' QuakeCon03 pages for the info.
I am going to update this blog entry over the weekend with info as I find it, so keep looking back (Updated Monday, 8.18.2003)
(Update 10/16/03 - I took out one reference link on here, an awful lot of googles were ending up on this site because of it)

God. Blakes seven. Essential Childhood viewing. Watched it a few months ago. Ohh, how those childhood memories fade when held up to reality.
Sigh.
Still - the guy who played Avon (Paul Darrow ? Saw him in Aberdeen playing Vimes in "Guards Guards". How low can you go?) - is rumoured to be bringing out a Blakes seven film.
Cant wait...
