CNET: Slow uptake seen for Office 2003
December 2 2003
Only about 35 percent of large businesses plan to move up to the latest version of Microsoft's Office software next year, according to a new survey of chief information officers.A more interesting question to me would be, what do these CIOs think they are describing when they talk about Office 2003 -- just Word/Excel/PowerPoint/(Outlook)? SharePoint Portal? InfoPath? Office Live? RMS? I suspect it's just the personal productivity stuff, but the term "Office" is certainly muddier than in the past.
