After hearing from many customers that support for Citrix XenApp 6.5 was important even before the release of Notes/Domino Social Edition, a plan for supporting 6.5 has emerged:

IBM will support Citrix XenApp 6.5 with Notes 8.5.3 Fix Pack 1 Basic and Standard clients, per the standard recommended Citrix XenApp installation guidelines provided, for the usual length of product life cycle/End of Service and/or terms of customer Support & Service agreement. Support will not request that customers reproduce issues in previous versions of XenApp (4.5, 5.0 or 6.0) that are supported with 8.5.3.
However there are several caveats around the new 6.5 features, and around Notes components such as our sidebar plug-ins and embedded Symphony. It's a step forward with more to come. Read the full technote.

    Good news for us too - we're entering proof-of-concept with these technologies right now.

    The IBM link you provided is not valid anymore: (404 Not Found)

    { Link }

    That happens also to other IBM technotes...

    Notes Support Team should provide a redirection mechanism to avoid that problem.

    @Cristian The link Ed provided in this blog post is still valid, however the IBM Support Portal is currently experiencing a site wide outage for support Knowledge Base content. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to have the content restored as soon as possible.

    Ed, were you aware of the 853 standard client issue when running citrix on a mac device? We found it in our 6.5 environment and it's a show stopper to rolling out the standard client in our citrix environment. I've got an open PMR 06595 379 000 if you're interested in better understanding this show stopper.

    Ed, Any word on when we will be able to publish administrator and designer on Citrix?

    Ed - same question as Steven. Admin works fine, albeit unsupported. Designer does not however. Can you tell if it is going to be supported or if there is a way to make it work and just live with that config being unsupported?
