Lotusphere 2009: Opening general session now availble online
January 28 2009
It's online now...
At our opening general session, General Manager Bob Picciano and his team will articulate how new developments will provide exponential opportunities for our IBM Business Partners and our customers. You'll hear from game-changers in our community, they'll share their real world wisdom on how they've leveraged IBM and Lotus technologies in unprecedented ways. Whatever you hear, you'll also see first-hand. The Opening General Session will be packed with demos, so we will show as we go.Link: Lotusphere 2009: Opening General Session >

Good start. I know it comes up each year but is there anyway in future years that for those of us on the other side of the planet (where it's going to be 110F today)that we can pay a nominal or somewhat reduced fee to get the presentations. It's _never_ going to be financially feasible for many of us who are not BPs to attend ... or bring back the Lotus Fusion conference down under:). If only some can be made available - would really love to see the Xpages presentations as your team has done a superb job and this is game changing stuff (if we can learn enough to adopt it). Cheers.

Thanks for getting this online.
@3 - I got the same error - going back to the previous page and resubmitting did it for me.
But... Real Player or Windows Media Player - ugh!
Get with the program folks! Can we have a flash-based player, or even better a downloadable version via iTunes please? I still think that you should use TED as the model here - I know it's a very different conference, but think how many thousands/millions of viewers have seen content from TED and thus how much demand there is for tickets - all because the content is available to stream/download/save.

Over 300 slides, I think this is most I have seen in presentation.
PS: Thanks to the Lotus people for posting the presentation Ed..

I tried again this morning and was able to get it to work. Sorry for the false alarm.

Will the closing session be available online? A colleague in Australia was in the marketing clip and would love a copy.

@10 I am trying to get the video. I think they promised it would be on LotusLive but I haven't found it there yet. It was awesome and I want to get it out to the world!

Ed, website fails consistently after submit. @7 nails it, this really should be flash media.

The website is still failing. I had to go all the way back to the login screen.

@2 Seek and ye shall find -- { Link } - for those who want a good kickstart on Xpages :)

Thanks Ed. I just wish they knew how to put a pause button in... you have to restart the video if you hit any button and fast forward doesn't work.
Oh, and "Lotusphere comes to you 2009" has been posted:
