By now, many of the hundred+ Lotusphere Comes to You 2007 events have been scheduled around the world.  Many cities and dates are listed, and for most, you can register online.  The product and marketing teams are busy refining content for these events, with the first one kicking off next week!

I have been asked to speak at a few of the LCTY or similar events, so I'm looking forward to seeing you at the following:

  • February 27, Warsaw, Poland -- Lotus Day (not LCTY), sponsored by Dysant and IBM (no URL at this time)
  • March 1, LCTY in Warrington, UK -- sponsored by Triangle
  • March 7, LCTY in Chicago
  • March 13, combined Wisconsin user group meeting in Fon du Lac -- details to follow
  • March 19, LCTY in Israel -- details to follow (and yes, I'm especially looking forward to what should be a fascinating trip)
  • April 19, LCTY in Minneapolis
  • April 24, LCTY in Toronto
  • and possibly May 1, LCTY in Boise.

More cities and dates are still being added.

The timing was bad to take a week off to go to Lotusphere, so I was hoping "Lotusphere Comes To You" would make it to somewhere close to Tallahassee like Atlanta or Tampa.

Looks like the closest city to Florida is Washington D.C.

    Bummer.

  1. 2  Bob Brodsky  |

@1 YES, Atlanta would be VERY convenient

Sure, those of us in Florida always get overlooked because we must have been in Orlando.

OK, I was, but would still come out to support this, or even help arrange it, present it even, if anyone is interested.

So anyone in South Florida or Florida in generqal, let me know.

Great to see it going to Israel. Have a good time Ed, the R5 launch we did there was great and well attended if I recall.

Hopefully will see you in Toronto

I'm dispite, no schedule for France ... Ed, Paris is a beautiful city, even if you don't like our airports ;)

    Ed,

Please add Hartford, CT to the list.

There will be one of these in ATL, folks. Count on it.

Buffalo, NY would be great too. We can go to Toronto, but it's 2.5 hours each way. From Rochester or Syracuse, TO is not feasable as a day trip. From Buffalo, you'd easily pull from alot of central and western NY, western PA, maybe even over to Ohio.

Perhaps I'll see you again in TO on 4/24.

Let me know when you have more info for Warsaw, I know somebody who will want to attend. Thanks.

    Ed,

I spoke at the Domino for Linux launch in Warsaw a number of years ago, they were expecting 20-30 people and 85 showed up! Warsaw is beautiful, I am sure that you will enjoy it.

I'll see you in Chicago and Toronto! Maybe they will add Western Canada soon too.

I'm glad I went to Orlando, because there are no events schedule for Latin America... I was hoping some Business Partner (or IBM) could take the lead, but on the other side I remember having been in an IBM event (Lotus, Websphere) 2 or 3 years ago and the community wasn't that big.

I'm surprised about countries like Brazil, Argentina and Chile. I feel Lotus is not as a big influence as it's in the USA and Europe, maybe the numbers are very small?

  1. 13  Ed Brill http://www.edbrill.com |

@ALL, please note the last sentence of the post -- more dates and cities to follow. I know for certain there will be Latin American events... just not posted on that website yet. And the same for other North American events.

Partners can host Lotusphere Comes to You events, so if your city isn't listed and you want to host, let me know and I'll get you in touch with "the right people"...

Yes - the event that I am speaking at is organized by Dysant and is being held at IBM on Tuesday 27 February next week. There is a separate event being held on 1 March.
