Chris Reckling has posted an update on the IBM Sametime mobile client for Android devices:

Today IBM released new Sametime Chat apps for Android tablets and phone. This is the first release of Sametime to have an experience designed specifically for the Android tablet. Tyler Walters, on my team, is the designer. Great job by him and the development team to produce this. This design is in line with the Notes Traveler tablet design, so you can use them side by side and have a great experience.

Seems the Mac Client gets less attention than the Windows Version. I had an issue that was fixed in 8.5.3 for 10.7 OSX but reared its ugly head again in 10.8 OSX. I applied all the updates still no luck. The 2nd monitor when you move the notes client there you cannot sort columns for sure, other databases work. I tried to replace the design to the newest again and even fix folder designs. It worked one time then stopped again. Server is 8.5.3 FP1, client is same plus the additional fixes for OSX Release 8.5.3FP2 SHF143. Any way to find out if this will be fixed in 8.5.4 or what the issue is and why it keeps coming back. I had someone else test with same results and same OS and notes etc..

@1 John, I believe you mean the Lotus Notes client, which is not what the topic of this posting is about. I'm sorry I can't provide tech support via this blog, but as a Mac user, I am not experiencing what you are. Please be sure to open a PMR via IBM support.

The New Sametime client need proxy and "a lot of exstras" to be used as a client on Android. Insted I use a Sametime client developed by Andrew Girow at tinyline.com. Release 8.5.1 L-KBIM-823K67 runs exellent.
