A snow day AND a pink Disney Princess hat... life is good. The storm totally missed us (albeit not by far) - but this photo about makes me wish it hadn't. And yes, the colors are fabulous. Thanks for sharing this, Ed.

Took me 90 minutes plus to drive 18 miles to Libertyville today. My wife said we had over 15 inches out west of Wauconda. We're estimating that less than a third of the staff was here today. Hope the drive home is easier than the white-out I was in this morning.
By the way, I followed my little girl into work today, 'cept she's a research scientist and drives an '06 Honda. where does the time go?

Everyone was talking about all the snow .. I think we got about 5 inches downtown on the lake .. but the ice was nasty! Not fun to drive in that in my car :)

Shy, and what a cutie. And getting bigger with every picture. Pretty soon, she will be demanding that Apple back.
11.9 inches out here in Rolling Meadows. A great day to work over the wire.

I love the photo of your daughter in the snow. I have re-recorded "Shake me, I Rattle." I am looking for visuals to go with the song.
Thank you,
Pamela Weeks, South Korea

That's a beautiful little girl you have there Ed, and a fabulous camera too... Such great colours.
