Here are Alan and me in the Lotusphere 2008 barmy bloggers boat races.... as you can see, our pre-flight preparations were very focused.

Congratulations to Thomas and Marcus, the winning boat racing team! Good job to all who participated, and thanks to Warren, Kitty, and everyone else who organized the races, and to the unnamed big company sponsor (resembling my employer) who sponsored them!

@1, well I was thinking the same thing. At *least* Allan has short sleeves- Ed, you could've at least rolled up your sleeves and attempted to loosen up! (joking of course).

You do realize that you're in a boat on a sunny day by the water wearing a button down shirt, slacks, and dress shoes while checking your blackberry? Some day, we're going to show that picture to your children.
