Wednesday webcast: Quickly provide customized, integrated user interfaces with Lotus Notes 8
November 12 2007
On Wednesday, learn the latest about Notes 8 tools for developing great applications, including composite applications:
IBM Lotus Notes 8 provides a wide range of developers the ability to provide customized, integrated user interfaces via composite applications and via custom sidebar and toolbar plug-ins. This Software Delivery Platform webcast provides you with tips and techniques to use with out-of-the-box capabilities of Lotus Notes 8, and survey how you can share useful components within your own company and within a larger community.Share useful components ... within a larger community... that sounds pretty cool! I think there's some good news coming there about how IBM will increase participation in the broader Notes community going forward. Might want to check out the webcast.

Lotus provides simpler sample apps for Notes8 standard via sandbox ({ Link }
Wouldn't it be better for the greater good, if the building blogs (plug-ins) were shipping with source code? I mean they don't provide features which could be exploited commercially. For the learning experience it would be so much easier, if one could take a look at the source code.
thx
